RE: New German dictionary problems

Ken,

I am loathe to remove words from a dictionary other than English ones -
since the author may have had reasons for adding the words he did. We do
have a large amount of German speaking customers (who I assume also have
many German Customers) - and this is the first time the problem has been
raised, thus this would also make me hesitant to remove words.

Your customer is welcome to send us via you a list of words they would like
added of course.

As to the split word suggestions - that is something you can control in code
- for many European Languages, Split Word suggestions seems to cause more
trouble then help - basically, for those languages, Addict Dictionaries
could do with having heaps more words - since we have no way of knowing what
compound words are valid and what are not (same applies to English of course
but not to the same extent).

If you want to change how splitword suggestions are handled then you need to
do something akin to:

 Addict.SuggestionsGenerator.DefaultSuggestionTypes :=
 	Addict.SuggestionsGenerator.DefaultSuggestionTypes - [stSplitWord];

With - to stop SplitWord suggestions and + to add SplitWord suggestions.
