I'm using the TaddictRichEdit in the applications for my company. Now they have a demand to be able to automatically to have the leading x number of characters marked in some way to indicate the length. I think there are three options: a) Color the the text included in the x length. b) Color the background behind the x number of characters. c) Insert some sort of graphical symbol at the right place. This obviously need to work with the live spell color marking and other layout like underlined subheadlines etc. It also need to be fast and flexible so that it is updated when you type in the rich edit and no noticable lag. Does anyone has any hints, suggestions, sample code etc to share. Or if there are third party rich edits that have functions for this and still support the addict spell checking. johan |
