- Thread-topic: Corruption in DBmemo field using DBRichEdit
I have a form which
has two DB Memo fields linked to a DBRichEdit control that is performing Live
Spelling and Live Correct.
I am finding that
the keyed data is getting corrupted in the following
scenario:
1.
Type some text in DB memo field (e.g. 'This is some text.')
2.
<tab> to next field
3.
<shift><tab> back to original DB memo field. Cursor positioned
at end of text.
4.
Type some more text (e.g. ' This is some more text')
5.
Click on 'OK' button to commit changes to (Paradox)
database.
The end result is
that the memo field in the database contains 'This is some text' followed by
some unprintable characters. I am able to replicate this scenario every
time. This has been happening for some time with a reasonably recent
version. I have recently downloaded V3.4.4 and run the install and it is
still happening.
Any assistance would
be greatly appreciated.
