The problem is when we have proposed it in the past we get heaps of requests
asking us not to have a web based forum - since many people don't like them
(including myself - though I do find those with RSS Feeds more workable) and
also many people don't seem to get nntp access at their work. Thus they like
the email approach.

When the Addict Author returns from leave I will talk to him about it again.

For my own products I've been using a new service that gives Newsgroup
Access and Web-based Forum Access to the same groups - as well as supplying
RSS feeds. Some sort of service like this maybe worthwhile. You can check

They have recently also added an optional (ie you pay more) email list
option which I am hoping to have more of a play with. So this may be a good
all round approach :)

So we will see what we can do in January...
