RE: TDBRichEdit not saving Fonts or FontSizes?

Two ideas:-

1.    There is a PlainText property in TDBRichEdit which should be False.
2.    You don't say what db you are using - maybe it is a quirk/bug in the db software.  Works OK for me with DBISAM

Subject: TDBRichEdit not saving Fonts or FontSizes?

Having trouble with my TDBRichEdit, nearly positive it's on my side, not a bug, just a user error.

I cannot seem to get the font information to save to the database, or if it's saving, it's not coming back.  Bold, Italic, Underline, and even bulleting works fine, saves and restores, but fonts always come back MS San Serif 8 pt., no matter what font or size I save them .  THe editor renders it correctly while editing, but I save and reopen, and it's back to default.

When I look at the blob field, I see font names for the other fonts I used, but I don't know RTF well enough to know if they look right.  I saved the RTF from the blob field out to a file, and it didn't load up in word with the right font, all defaulted back to MS San Serif 8 point.

Is there some setting that comes to mind, so that FontNames and sizes are stored/restored properly?

Thanks.
