Thanks for all the replies.
The problem is that I am subclassing the Jedi control (in fact I am
subclassing the JvxRichEdit's direct ancestor because JvxRichEdit just
exposes properties). Therefore the 'jvx' string that Addict looks for in
the class name could not be found (anywhere in the hierarchy, if it was
looking past my class up the family tree). I have simply appended _jvx to
my class name and Addict now works a treat!
I ummed and ahhed as to whether to include the fact that I had sub-classed,
and decided not to, in order to keep my original enquiry simple. Isn't it
funny the way that Murphy's Law always comes into effect! Sorry for the
time wasted.
So, I guess I had better buy my license.

I just noticed with v3 it is now JvRichEdit rather then JvxRichEdit - which
means a change will be needed to Addict Source...
I hope to have a JvRichEdit / Addict Demo out next week sometime :)
