Subject: Live Correct - Pre Loaded???
I am working with the Live Correct option that will automatically correct
misspelled words as you type, like "teh" will change to "the" as the user
types. However, I notice that it appears that it has to be "trained"
first". in other words, when I initially typed "teh" in my document, and
hit space, it didn't change to "the". I then right-clicked on the word, and
selected Auto-Correct from the pop-up menu, and selected "the". From that
point on, it replaced "teh" with "the".
I don't want my users to have to "train" it to know what to replace words
with if I can avoid it. This particular application is going to be one used
by handicapped individuals, and they won't be capable of doing such things,
so I want to have this auto-correct list already loaded. Is there a file
that I can download somewhere that will have a list of commonly misspelled
words and their correct spellings that I can pre-load to avoid this?
Also, while playing with this, I set the LiveMenuOptions.AutoCorrect set to
False, and it still appears in the popup. I don't know if this was because
I still had the LiveCorrect set to True or not.
