No, as this would slow down the spelling check too much.
However, we can attempt to do the opposite... once the lookup has failed,
then we can take more time to see if the lookup would have succeeded if the
character entity had been changed...
Get me (privately) a list of these and I'll see what I can't do for a future
release (not guaranteeing this for the official release though). If you
want it faster, then you're always free to hook the word inspection event
and do it yourself... Addict 3 does make this possible.

If pre-pending l' or d' on any French word is fine, then we can special case
this in Addict. However, I seriously doubt that its fine to do this for any
word. If it isn't fine, then the words need added to the French dictionary.
The compiler will take care of optimizing all of the various combinations.
