Also, I can confirm a freezing problem with Russian text.
The file of 12 bytes (containing on Russian word, separated with spaces to
make spelling error) causes a long delay on checking on my PIII 800:

(I am using updated character set).

BTW, I think that using common character set for all languages is a bad
idea.
I think character set should be associated with a dictionary...

I have added Russian translation of Addict3 user interface, and can share it
with public, if you intereseted.
